Enchanted Halloween -Behind the Scenes

Enchanted Halloween -Behind the Scenes

Hello creative friends! I am very honored to start this column with the "behind the scenes" of the layouts. I will try to tell you how my projects are born and how I almost always change my mind during the creative process 😂.
I start with this Halloween themed layout, this theme is one of my favorites together with the travel one so I will show you, most likely, several projects with this main theme.
For me, inspiration can come from different things: the photo is usually the main one, then often the creative light bulb goes on when looking at the work of other creatives or I am simply inspired by a scrap collection.
In this case my inspiration was born from this patterned paper, when I saw it I bought several copies because I had several projects in mind and this is one of them.
I cut the letters from the patterned and decided how to position them directly on the desk, I printed a couple of photos and tried different solutions. Every time I try a possible combination I always take a photo to be able to compare and decide which one I prefer.
At this point I usually decide on the title but here obviously it was already pretty much done so I added a fabulous touch with this perspective by Bramble Fox which added that detail to my project and has a color that goes perfectly with the project.
Now that most of the layout was done I was still missing a decision on the background, at first I thought about using white but it "turned off" my project, the patterned ones took away from the title and created confusion. I put my favorite playlist on my headphones and decided to search for an idea in my stash and I found this perfect spider web vellum!
I also tell you about these moments to make you understand that not every project is born simply, in the process you change your mind, some things don't work and others are born simply.
And here is the result after an embarrassing amount of thick double-sided tape and some diecuts from the same collection.
I hope I haven't bored you and for any questions write to me.
